Adopted: Resolution #19-10 Date: January 6, 2010
In accordance with Hopatcong Borough Ordinance 40-2009, the Water rate has changed from $66.00 to $68.00 for the first 10,000 gallons per quarter.  For each 1,000 gallons in excess of the first 10,000 gallons per quarter, the fee is $2.85 per 1,000 gallons or part thereof.
This Ordinance took effect January of 2010.

On the Water bill, being mailed in May, you may see a small balance.  If you have already paid your prior bill in full, this small amount reflects the increase in the Water fee, retroactive, from your prior quarter.
