Mission Statement
Safety and preparation are essential before and during any emergency situation. Hopatcong Borough Office of Emergency Management is committed to keep the Borough residents well informed and safe during that time of need. All this through training, seminars, public information and notifications systems.

About the Office
The Office is responsible for coordinating all large scale emergencies and events. OEM is responsible for maintaining the Borough’s Emergency Operations plan (EOP) and to provide resources to all Borough Departments and residents during emergencies or in times of crisis. The Office of Emergency Management works closely with the Sussex County Office of Emergency Management and the New Jersey State Office of Emergency Management.
